Edward Henry McKenzie was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, in March 1925. McKenzie enlisted with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry at the beginning of the Korean war, and served in Korea with them until his return to Nanaimo at the end of the war. The collection currently consists of more than twenty letters and fourteen photographs.
